Good Evening Cobra Families:
This is Sonya Horton, principal of Southern Nash Middle School, with the weekly announcements for Monday, May 20, 2024 - Friday, May 24, 2024.
This week students will take their EOGs. Please make sure your child gets a good nights rest, eats breakfast, and is at school on time. 8th graders will be taking Science on Wednesday, May 22nd. All students will be taking Reading on Thursday, May 23rd and Math on Friday, May 24th.
We will have an EOG celebration on May 29th. Students must pass their EOGs to attend. We will also have an End of the Year PBIS Celebration for all students, May 30th.
Monday, May 27th is Memorial Day. There will be no school for staff or students.
Our EOY Awards day will be May 28th during the school day. 7th grade will be at 9:00am. 6th grade will be at 11:50am. 8th grade will be at 2:00pm.
8th grade parents: As the school year is coming to an end, we need your help! We are in need of uniform pants and shirts. There will be a collection box on the 8th grade hallway if you would like to make a donation! You may also drop them off in the front office any time Monday-Thursday once school is out.
FFA Strawberry Pick-Up is Tuesday, May 21st 4-5pm. Please park in car-line circle and follow signs to Mrs. Denton's room!
Parents, if your child owes money to the cafeteria, please make sure you turn this in as soon as possible.
