This is Sonya Horton, principal of Southern Nash Middle School, with the weekly announcements for Monday, May 6, 2024 - Friday, May 10, 2024.
We are in the last home stretch, and this is our last full week before we begin testing. We have 7 instructional days before student's begin EOG testing. Please make sure your child is at school every day and ready to learn. Let's finish the school year off strong! We will have an EOG celebration on May 29th. Students must pass their EOGs to attend. We will also have an End of the Year PBIS Celebration for all students, May 30th.
Congratulations to the baseball team for their undefeated season and winning the Tri-County Conference Championship!
Congratulations to our band students who participated in the NC Bandmasters Solo and Ensemble Music Performance Adjudication this weekend. They all received superior and excellent ratings on their performances!
This Tuesday is the Spring Band Concert. Students need to be at SNMS in their concert attire by 5:30PM. The concert will be from 6PM-7PM.
Friday, May 17th is our last dress down day for students. Students must bring $2.00 to participate.
Parents, if your child owes money to the cafeteria, please make sure you turn this in as soon as possible.
