Good Evening Cobra Families:

This is Sonya Horton, principal of Southern Nash Middle School, with the weekly announcements for Monday, April 22, 2024 - Friday, April 26, 2024.

We have 22 instructional days before student's begin EOG testing. Please make sure your child is at school every day and ready to learn. Let's make every day count and continue to work hard as we prepare for success!

Thursday, April 25th will be a dress down day for students. Students must bring $2.00 in order to participate.

Spring Pictures will be this Friday, April 26th.

Congratulations to the Cobra team that participated in the Tri-County Invention Convention. They placed 1st out of 11 teams. We are very proud of their hard work and countless hours working on their invention!

Teacher Appreciation Week is the week of May 6th-10th. We would like to show our staff just how much we appreciate them. If you would like to sponsor a day, please reach out to Ms. Horton or the school at 252-937-9020.

8th grade dance is Friday, April 26th from 5:30-7:30. Thank you to everyone who has volunteered to help make this night a rememberable one for our students. We certainly appreciate your support and look forward to a fun filled night for our 8th graders!

Thank you so much parents for making sure your child is following the dress code daily. Hoodies should be SNMS colors only, and students should wear uniform approved pants.
