This is Sonya Horton, principal of Southern Nash Middle School, with the weekly announcements for Monday, April 8, 2024 - Friday, April 12, 2024.

We hope you all had a wonderful relaxing Spring Break! We have 32 instructional days before student's begin EOG testing. It is hard to believe that this school year is almost over! However, we have a lot of work to do so please make sure your child is at school every day and ready to learn.

All student's will be taking the Math Benchmark on Thursday, April 11th.

Model Release Forms were sent home with your child's report card. For your child to be included in any NEW content for yearbook or any school-related social media pic/video/audio, the student's parent/guardian HAS to Opt-In their child. If you have not turned in this form, please do so.

Parents, some of your children have an outstanding cafeteria balance. Please make sure you pay these fee's to the cafeteria. We will begin calling parents of students who owe money this week.

Teacher Appreciation Week is the week of May 6th-10th. We would like to show our staff just how much we appreciate them. If you would like to sponsor a day, please reach out to Ms. Horton or the school at 252-937-9020.

Thank you so much parents for making sure your child is following the dress code daily. Hoodies should be SNMS colors only, and students should wear uniform approved pants.
