Message From the Principal
Good evening,
Thank you for your patience this past week with the technical difficulties during testing! We apologize for any inconvenience. Students will be taking the Math EOG on Tuesday, June 3rd. Please help your child be at their best by:
Making sure they get a good night’s sleep.
Ensuring they eat a healthy breakfast.
Making every effort to have them arrive at school on time.
Encourage your child to do their best — we believe in them, and we know you do too!
We will send EOG scores home on Wednesday, June 4th, and this paper it will indicate if your child will need to retest. Remediation will take place on Monday, June 9th and this will be a full day of school. Tuesday, June 10th will be the retest for Math and Wednesday, June 11th will be the retest for Reading, and these days will be an early release day. Please contact to the school with any questions.
The SNMS Academic Awards will be Wednesday, June 4th. 7th grade will be at 9:00am, 6th grade will be at 12:00pm, and 8th grade will be at 2:00pm. We look forward to seeing you there to celebrate the success of our students.
Thursday, June 5th will be our EOG celebration.
Friday, June 6th will be the PBIS celebration in which all students will attend.
As we wrap up the school year, I want to sincerely thank you for your continued support, encouragement, and partnership. Your involvement has made a meaningful difference, and it's been a pleasure to work with your children. Wishing you all a restful and joyful summer!
Have a great evening!
Thank you for your support,

We want your child to remain healthy and help them be protected against illness from vaccine-preventable diseases. This is a reminder that your child’s vaccines are due soon.
Students entering 7th grade are required to have one dose of Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis) vaccine and one dose of meningococcal conjugate vaccine (MCV4). The vaccine must be MCV4 vaccine- NOT the meningitis B vaccine.
An up-to-date immunization record indicating that your student has received all required immunizations is due by the first day of attendance at school for the upcoming school year. If proof of immunization is not provided within 30 calendar days after school entry, your student will not be allowed to attend school until it is provided, as required by law.
Contact your doctor/health care provider or local health department to meet this immunization requirement.
Submit your child’s updated immunization record to Nurse Wingfield.
