Translators will be there! Don’t miss out on the chance to secure financial aid for college!

Scholarships

Available scholarships can be found on the Scholarship Information Spreadsheet. Please check the scholarship listings each week to see what is new. New scholarships will be posted throughout the year as I receive them.

You can follow the SNHS Counseling Department on Instagram @snhscounseling for information on colleges, scholarships, financial aid, careers, upcoming events, and more.

State Superintendent's Student Advisory Council

The State Superintendent's Student Advisory Council is a diverse group of High School juniors and seniors from across all 8 of NC's State Board Regions. Each member serves a two-year term and meets biweekly to discuss education issues that leaders across North Carolina could solve and advocate for.

During each of their terms, advisors also will develop two proposals for the State Superintendent's office, or General Assembly members through a comprehensive presentation that outlines ways to create change through policy or legislation.
