Congratulations to Merlina Santiago-Hernandez! Her artwork was selected for the Superintendent’s Art Gallery to be showcased all year!

Congratulations to our Winter Percussion Ensemble who competed in the Atlantic Indoor Association State Championships last weekend and received 1st place in the Concert Scholastic Division.

Congratulations to our Special Olympians! The Firebird Athletes and Unified Champions participated in the Nash County Special Olympics at Rocky Mount High School and did an excellent job! Special shout out to Anthony Tate, who led the entire crowd in the Athletes’ Oath, a very special honor!

Next week, we are back to the regular schedule with our Firebird Focus and Homeroom.

Next week is also Assistant Principals’ Week!

We know they get a bad reputation sometimes, but our team works really hard to support our students and staff. So please take time to celebrate our Assistant Principals: Mrs. DeLoatch, Mr. Maynard, Mr. Meiring, and Mrs. Reynolds.

The Junior class did receive information about senior pictures for this summer, please speak with your child!
