Hello Firebird Families,
A new reporting period begins on Monday, so parents please remind your students to continue practicing healthy habits throughout the school year. We are looking forward to seeing our students progress even more in the second nine weeks.
Students, there has been a district-wide issue with excessive stickers placed on Chromebooks. Please remove all stickers and sticker residue from devices. There will be a charge assessed to your technology account if there are excessive stickers left on your devices.
Just as a reminder, lost chargers cost $30. Please check your email for an invoice where you can click your invoice to pay your technology fees.
Please come out to our Trunk or Treat at the JV Football Game on 10/31 beginning at 5 PM. This is our JV Football team’s last game of the season.
Shout out to the Cross Country Team who competed at Regionals at Franklinton this past Saturday.
Congratulations to our girls’ volleyball team on an awesome season.
The Marching Firebirds competed at Greene Central Band Day this weekend and received the following awards in the AAA division: 2nd Place Drum Major, 2nd Place Color Guard, 1st Place Percussion, 1st Place Marching, 1st Place General Effect, 1st Place Music, Best in Class. They placed 2nd of the entire day in percussion and their overall score was 3rd of all 16 bands! Way to go band!
Tryouts for winter sports and sign-ups for our Powder Puff Football game will begin this week. Please see the information included in this newsletter.
