PTA Meeting on April 28 at 6 pm
We are voting on 2025 - 2026 Officers! Planning for the rest of this year and next year. Please come out to the school this evening!
NCPS has updated the school year calendars for this coming year. Please note that school begins in early August, and we get out of school in May for the 2025 - 2026 school year. You may click on the link below to view the new calendars for this next school year.
Daily Reminders:
Transportation Changes - Please make sure that you notify the teachers or the main office before 2:30 pm regarding Transportation changes. It is easier, if you send a written note to notify teachers. After 2:30 pm, it is difficult to get to all of the parent requests before dismissal.
Carpool Directions - Drop off for car riders begins at 7:20 am. The tardy bell rings at 8 am. At 8 am, parents have to walk students up to the main office to check them in. Please follow the carpool directions for dismissal. Please be kind, and do not jump in line.
PikMyKid - Please download the PikMyKid App and connect to your students. You can change your students' modes of transportation, if they are a car rider instead of a bus rider. You can also check in when you arrive to pick up your student. You will not have to speak to anyone in the car line, if you announce that you are there to pick up your student. This will cause the line to go even quicker. We are finished with the car line around 3:20 pm.
Please remember that students cannot miss more than 2 hours of the school day in order to be counted present. Check Outs end at 2:30 pm. Our NCPS District has a Promotion/Retention Policy that states that students must be present at least 85% of school year, as well as pass all of their classes, in order to go onto the next grade level.
Mr. Bridges, Assistant Principal, can assist you with any bus related questions. We will work with Transportation to get your student routed quickly. Mr. Bridges can be contacted by phone at (252) 462-2501 or by email at rkbridges@ncpschools.net
Where's The Bus? App - Parents can view "real time" locations of student buses. We posted the picture in Rooms on Friday!
You can send $20.00 in cash or pay through My School Bucks, through your student's email.
After a statement is sent via email to any user account, the recipient of the email notification will be able to view a .pdf attachment of the invoice or statement from the email. The email will also include the date that the statement was generated and the user account it was created for, if applicable.
To pay the invoice or statement, the user clicks the Pay button in the email. The Log into Incident IQ option in the top right corner is only included in email notifications sent to users with an active iiQ account. It will not appear if the statement is sent to an unrecognized email address. The user must use the provided link from the email for the payment to be reflected within iiQ—the unique link provided through the email ties iiQ to MySchoolBucks. So if the user bypasses the link and logs straight into MySchoolBucks, the connection between the two systems will be broken. This will cause a remaining balance in iiQ but no outstanding balance in MySchoolBucks.
When selecting the Pay with MySchoolBucks option, the user will be redirected to the MySchoolBucks login page. MySchoolBucks hosts this webpage for check-out. Next, they will need to Checkout as a Guest. After selecting the option to checkout as a guest, the end-user will be brought to the check-out page.
Here they will be able to view the following information for each fee included in their statement:
● Name
● Unit Price (Fee amount)
● Quantity
● Amount (total for each line item)
● Description ○ This is pulled from the description added for this line item within the MySchoolBucks App > Item Types tab. Also, they will be prompted to enter their first and last name and email address if checking out as a guest. A receipt of this transaction will be sent to the email address entered once the payment has been processed.
NCPS App - Download the NCPS App to stay connected to everything for Englewood Elementary Schools. You can also connect to your student's teachers through this App. If you need assistance, please contact the front office.
