Message from the Principal
Thunderbird Families,
We have an exciting week ahead in Thunderbird Country!
Our 5th grade students will take the NC Check-In assessment for Earth Science on Wednesday, April 9th. Please ensure your student arrives on time for the assessment.
Make plans to join us on Thursday, April 10th for a floating "Moving Up Night" from 4:00-6:00. This event is open for rising Kindergarten registration for the 2025-26 school year and our current Kindergarten through 4th grade students to visit their next grade-level teachers and learn information to help prepare for the upcoming year.
Finally, on Friday we will hold our Field Day! This is an exciting day for our students and community! We will have a couple vendors that will have food and snacks available for cash purchase. The Field Day schedule and important logistical information is listed in the below newsletter for your convenience. We will keep an eye on the weather, as the current forecast calls for rain. We will keep you informed of any changes as the rain date is set for Thursday, April 17th.
Please read through the below newsletter for more important information and reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
Thank you for your continued support,
