Dear NCPS Family:
As we approach the end of 2023, I want to wish you - our Nash County Schools community, a wonderful holiday, ample rest time, and ready to start the new year off on a great start in 2024.
Reflecting on 2023, we have made many strides in Growing Forward Together, from exiting our district from low-performing schools to planning for growth throughout our county to the demerger process of our school system.
We have launched an App to communicate better with our school community and have come together to support our students across the district when needed. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to my NCPS family. As the Superintendent of NCPS, it brings me immense joy to see how our community has navigated the challenges and triumphs of the past year.
While this is a beautiful time of the year, it can also be busy and stressful. Please visit our district website for any mental health and wellness service resources if needed this holiday break. Nash County Public Schools is committed to supporting schools, students, and families with resources to improve their mental and emotional wellness. Our goal is to meet the needs of the whole student in order to achieve success.
Below we have provided NCPS Mental Health information, which can also be found on our website. https://www.ncpschools.net/page/mental-health.
Please take the time to relax and recharge. I look forward to seeing you in 2024.
Sincerely,
Dr. Steven Ellis
