Parents and Guardians,
I wish the kiddos were able to play in a little bit of snow on Saturday, hopefully next time! Thursday will be the end of the grading period, please check Infinite Campus to ensure your 3-5 student has completed all work. Report Cards will be issued on 1-24th. The calendar below indicates the upcoming holidays and mandatory teacher workdays.

The Yearbook Club needs your help! We’re looking for creative and spirited students to help design our school yearbook. Here’s your chance to show off your talents and get a sneak peek at the yearbook pages before anyone else!
Details:
When: Every Thursday after school until 4:30 PM
Where: Mrs. Valovic
Sign-Up: Forms were sent home in yesterday’s Thursday folders. Be sure to return them by Thursday, January 16th to secure your spot.
Note: Space is limited to 12 students, so don’t wait!

Basketball and Cheerleading information has been sent out to interested students. Please reach out to Ms.Spooner for basketball or Ms. Patterson for cheerleading if you have any questions. Students grades 4-5 may participate.
Accelerated Reader has begun for students in grades 1-5. Students have been assessed in their independent reading level and are encouraged to read libraries books and take the comprehension tests for 80% mastery. Teachers will share these levels with you Please encourage your student to bring home their library books to read nightly. Students will be able to take their tests the next day.Our goal is to increase stamina and increase grade level proficiency. You can also get additional books at the Braswell Library based on your student's reading level. You can check if there is an AR test on a particular book at AR Bookfinder-https://www.arbookfind.com/UserType.aspx?RedirectURL=%2fdefault.aspx
